Off topic answers to your questions:
I answered your question about The Life of Pi on my blog, but just to make sure you know: I’ve only read about three chapters, but so far I think it’s pretty terrific. I hope I passed your test….
The jury is still out on my deadline; it’s not midnight yet!
Your pirate lingo cuh-racked me up!

I have to second Luisa. I laughed out loud when you corrected your misspelling on her blog and said you weren’t trying to talk like a pirate. I’m STILL cracking up with tears running down my face. My daughter just came in to see what was so funny, so I read it to her. Man, woman! You make me laugh! Come to my house and sit on the couch and just talk so I can laugh all day. You do my soul good!

Today I’ve already come across three blogs about food, I didn’t know blogging could make you fat! It’s not “beanut tupper cut”, is it? Oh wait, I’m grouping the letters the wrong way. Excuse me while I go have a look in the freezer for a snack…

Diesel — so close but it’s RHYMES with steenut cutter pup — although an ice cream flavor with “pup” in it does sound so yummy!
