They’re Surrounding Me

I run into the store for a few items and as soon as I come out there they are begging for money. I go to work and again with the requests. Relatives tell me they know someone and again I am faced with them. As soon as the weather starts to warm up — there they are in their places waiting for me.

Yes, those Girl Scouts with those cookies have some nerve. They shove those caramel coconut and shortbread cookies in my face, and what else can I do but buy some? So I dig deep into my purse and find a few dollars and some change. And then I go to my car and can’t believe I just spend .22 a cookie. And then I go home and eat them all, and can’t believe I just ate 64 fat grams. Those mean little girls. Making me eat all those cookies. Mean little girls.

But if they’re thin mints, then it’s all worth it.

“thin” mints what a misnomer! They should be called “Babies got big back mints.”

Move back to Spain, that’s the best way to escape those cookies. 😉

Jenna — My niece just brought me more Samoas so I followed your advice and put them in the freezer. They were just as good and I ate all of them!

emmasometimes — Right after I wrote this post my niece brought me more. I thought she had read this post but she hadn’t.

Theresa–oh, I know they can’t track me down in Spain…Oh my beautiful Spain!
