I run into the store for a few items and as soon as I come out there they are begging for money. I go to work and again with the requests. Relatives tell me they know someone and again I am faced with them. As soon as the weather starts to warm up — there they are in their places waiting for me.
Yes, those Girl Scouts with those cookies have some nerve. They shove those caramel coconut and shortbread cookies in my face, and what else can I do but buy some? So I dig deep into my purse and find a few dollars and some change. And then I go to my car and can’t believe I just spend .22 a cookie. And then I go home and eat them all, and can’t believe I just ate 64 fat grams. Those mean little girls. Making me eat all those cookies. Mean little girls.
